Hi I am going to build a PC for my rendering work. I am planning to get the i7-3930k and 32gb of Gskill ripjaws z series Rams. What my concern now is the space between the hsf and the Ram. I heard there are many issue about people unable to install all the 8 dimm slot due to the hsf come into the way of the Ram area. Please let me know whether can i use the Asus P9X79 Pro mobo with COOLERMASTER HYPER 212 EVO/ XIGMATEK GAIA and install the Gskill ripjaws z series Rams?

Hard to tell from the pictures I saw. If you still have the opportunity, get low profile ram and don't worry about it.

Users from newegg who got one says...

It will interfere with taller DDR RAM - recommend the G-Skillz with the red thermal spreaders for this reason - excellent combination.

Also, I wouldn't recommend buying before you do the measurements. Make sure you have more than enough space for your RAM and other dimensions.

Extremely difficult to install, my screw driver even slipped and I luckily only hit the side of a RAM slot.
- The spring screws makes it very difficult to get the screws in.
--
Also i took n Egg off because i had to put the Cooler fan on the left of the heatsink because it was blocking one of my corsair Ram sticks and i didnt want to remove my Ram. I thought this would raise my CPU temp, But thankfully it didnt.

Big, could be a con to some. its deff close to my first ram slot, but fits in my Corsair 500R with the side fan on with plenty of room to spare.

What about this one? Or remove the heat spreader from the first slot stick?
