Hello,

I have a simle question.

Can you connect cd/dvd drive LG gsa-4163b to a new AsRock Z68extreme4Gen3 mobo?

I think cd/dvd drive has IDE connection, while I can't find that on the motherboard. Will I need a new cd/dvd drive?

If the MB doesn't have an IDE connector then you'll need to buy a SATA drive.

Well, u might use USB pen drive for Windows install.
