Hi all,
I have 2x2G of Kingston HyperX Blu Genesis 1333Mhz ram. I've been having BSOD & was told by a friend it was a memory error. I had the memory voltage set to auto in BIOS (AMI 0801, 30/112011) SMBIOS Version 2.5), so in CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro i noticed the memory voltage was 1.64v which i thought was too high & was most likly my problem I set it to 1.5v ran prime95 torture test & instant BSOD. I've looked on kingstons site for correct voltages but can't work out wether it should be set to 1.5v or 1.65v as it kind of shows both.
Thanks for any help you can give....
System Spec:
Xigmatek 550w PSU
Asus M5A78L-M/usb3 Motherboard
AMD FX-4100
Loki CPU cooler
2x2Gig Kingston HyperX Blu Genesis 1333Mhz Ram
Gigabyte HD6850 Graphics Card
Kingston says 1.65 volt. It is also on the motherboards compatibility list, so it should not be an issue.
If anything I would be suspecting the very poor quality power supply of not supplying proper voltages, and/or not being 550 watts as advertized.
