Hello,
We're trying to show that a small form factor processing module can offer both excellent performance and excellent power consulmption values. Perf wise we need/want a quad core CPU, and size wise we were thinking of an mini-ITX board. What do you think of this combo:
- Intel i7 Mobile CPU quad core (eg.i7-2670QM)
- hence using a G2 socket (rPGA988B)) ITX board such as KINO-QM670 or Commell LV-67H
Anything better out there? Cost is not a major issue normally (company pays...). Size is first priority, perf second, power 3th....
Of course the power supply needs to fit into the small size too, hence not going to more standard CPU/ITXboards like a P8H67-I DELUXE board (nice BT and WLAN functions etc) which would fit i7 cores like the i7-2600.
