I am planning to upgrade my motherboard to something more recent (Using a P5LVM-1394 at the moment, not liking it all that much) once the Ivy Bridge processors come out, and hope to snag a i5 2500K for cheaps alongside it.
But, what is currently the best motherboard in Bang-For-Buck terms? I'm looking for something that can handle heavy (Not hardcore, My 1280X1024 monitor ain't going to see much use at 1800X1800) gaming, Software development, Adobe (Photoshop, Fireworks, etc.) and 3D modelling (Maya), whilst not being melty-touchy-with-finger and will last several years of abuse.
...Probably should wait before having posted this, but I'm curious as to what is the best all-round motherboard at the current time.
Max budget is £100, unless deals including ram and processor can be found for under £200.
