hi
my mobo is p6x58d-e and the bios version is 0701. i have accidently set the drive xpert mode to super speed and now i cant set it back to "normal" mode. i have a SSD that can be used in SATA III port so currenlty due to this stupid mock up im using a SATA II port for the SSD with win 7 installed.

the only remedy that i could find was

i jst wated to know is there any other way as i dont have another HDD nor SSD that support SATA III.

cmos clearing , battery removal etc already done with no luck. havent dont any flashing though.

Last time I looked there was an option in the bios to set it back to normal mode. If you flash the bios which with the Asus boards is real easy to do then it should set it back to normal mode.
