Hello,

I am putting a new GA-EP45T-USB3P motherboard in my pc and it makes one long beep and stays on but does not launch into bios.

I bought this set of Ram:

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

I am running two of these vid cards:

SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon HD 4870 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16

This is the processor:

1 x Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80569Q9550

Any thoughts?

I have swapped out the ram to different slots and even took out the second video card in trying to get this thing to boot.

it sounds like you may have one bad stick of ram. try running just one and then the other. see if that makes any difference
