hi,

I have this problem with my computer: Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected.

It seems the problem is with the HD cause SATA isn't recognized.

I was wondering if the problem could be linked to the fact that I switched off the computer with daemon running.

thank you

sorry for the wrong category, but I'm not an expert at all

Start by disabling all the floppy setttings, including floppy seek in the bios. Then check the boot order and reset it to cd>hardrive if needed. Then check the sata setting; use either native ide or achi, depending on which setting you used to load windows. Sometimes the board will reset the bios to default for no apparant reason.
