no problems. You can use amd with a intel mobo or nvdia with and amd mobo if that is what you really are wondering.

That mobo's too expensive for whatever you've got in mind, though. I recommend the $190 MSI Z68A-GD80 for high-end builds. It's great for anything but 3-way SLI/Xfire.

Can you link me to the selection page? In my experience they'll usually have one or two decent boards at the right price.

I think the Z68X-UD3H-B3 would be the best option. It's a solid board, $160 on the Egg.

On that note, go 2500K if you were thinking of paying more. It's basically equivalent to the 2600K in gaming.

I have seen that a lot around the forumns lol. But its gotten to the point where i set a budget of around 2000 and im probably going to be coming in around 200 less as it is so I figured why not for the i7.

Also, how do i choose best answer since im a noob here?

Well, basically all it'll get you is a couple of bins more on your maximum overclock. That might be worth it for two 7970s. If you feel like throwing the money around, go for it.
BA should be a button next to each response that isn't yours, with a little medal thing on it.
