I have a gigabyte EP45-UD3R mobo. I currently have 4gb's of DDR2 PC2-6400 (400 mhz) RAM.

I was wondering if this ram would be compatible with it. It's 8gb of DDR3 1333 RAM.

No, you cannot use DDR3 memory in that board. In fact, it won't even fit. You must use DDR2 memory. 1066/800/667 MHz

... DDR2 memory is quite expensive due to it being nearly obsolete. Your best bet for that board would be to look on ebay for some used RAM
