my ram misbehaves ;)

i have two 2gb ddr2 667MHz strontium sticks purchased 3 yrs ago.

one of them is suspected to be faulty when connected one by one.

The FAULT:

When i connect the suspected stick, it runs well for a couple of days or often 3-5 days. But then all of sudden sceen got stuck, no cursor movt, no keys reacting, etc and while this if i had a audio playing, it starts to sound like a loud alarm.

tried on an another system too, same response.

i cant find any other thing causing this, hope for replacement as it is tagged 01/2012.

Any suggestions

I'd replace the ram :D

It's obvious what stick is faulty and you should defiantly replace it!

Running memtest will tell you for sure if you have a bad stick.
