Hello, I want to upgrade my Acer Aspire One D260 to 2Gb RAM. What brand is the best for DDR3?

Really any of the following would work: G Skill, Crucial, Corsair, and Patriot. They all make solid ram.

lol, I was going to just say that they are all as likely to fail, but yes, all Ram is about on the same level these days. Your choice should likely be on the color of the heat spreader that you will never see.

His comp is a laptop, so it really won't matter, since the heat spreaders don't even exist for laptop memory.

Nathanman, make sure you buy Laptop memory, not desktop memory, they are different sizes and therefore desktop memory will not fit into a laptop.

Thanks everyone for the great advice! I ended up ordering from crucial because they had very good ui and simple make and model specifications. Thumbs up to crucial at least for RAM.
