Forum Motherboards & Memory : Motherboards Problem impossible to solve! DAMN 27 error

Hi,

I have a problem that Intel consider impossible to solve!

This is the configuration:

I7-2700k
DP67BG (and DZ68ZV. They've send me this board as a replacement)
4Go ram memory KVR1333D3N9HK2/8G (I'm only using one ram of 4gb for the test, and I've tried with an other brand)
Power supply OCZ MODXSTREAM-PRO 600W (I've tried with an other brand)

Basically the problem is simple:

If the ramm is in channel A, everything works fine. If the ram is in channel B, I get three beeps and a 27 code on the board.

If someone solve this problem, he's brighter than at least 6 technicians from Intel and 3 from FutureShop.

Thank you.

N.B.: The motherboard is now outside the case on a none conductive pillow :)

So, you have your memory in the blue slots. Correct?

Yes.

My memory is on DIMM2 (the blue slots in channel B)

What happens when u use all the slots loaded with RAM?

I have only two memory stick.

I've tried the following:

- 1 ram memory in slot 1, slot 2, slot 3, slot 4 = slot 1 and 3 works fine (channel A), slot 2 and 4 gives me 27 and three beeps (channel B)

- 2 ram memory in slot 1 and 2 (channel A and B), slot 1 and 3 (channel A only) , slot 2 and 4 (channel B only)
when B is involve, I got my error.

I called them and they confirmed this ram was compatible with my motherboard and my processor.

Yes, I tried this configuration.

page 75 for beep code on memory look like what you got

I know... It's a 27 error (p.78)... It's not really helping me.

Reply to shooter440

that means when you put memory in channel b first the bios give you that error code so you have to use channel a first

As I said before, I tried with DIMM1 and DIMM2 at the same time and I still got the 27 error and the three beeps (same memory in both DIMMs)

Get rid of that mobo and get ASUS or Gigabyte or MSI, and be done with it shooter440 : )

I know! but I had a retail deal on this (280$ instead of 600 for the processor and the mobo).

Intel is suggesting a refund ... Do you understand why I want to solve this problem!?

With 280$ I will never have half the power of this combo!

There should be something to do!
