Forum Motherboards & Memory : Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R power issue? [SOLVED]

Trying to build this machine, and when i plug in the two 2x4 plugs and power up the machine it turns on then off, then back on then does a continuous beep. If I unplug the two 2X4 plugs the computer turns on without any beeping but does not post.

I notice one other thing, I have a GX280 card, and if I plug in the 2x4 plugs, the GX280 fan is on, if the plugs are not in, the GX280 fan is not on.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rich
