I am posting this to save some time for folks and for my own self in the future. I am relying on Google to find this post.

To summerize,
Although memory test during POST shows you no problem, it doesn't mean your RAM sticks are working perfectly

Here is my situation and outcome.
1. I am building a gaming rig with the following components:
- Supermicro H8DCE mobo
- 4 gig/sticks of Micron registered+buffered ECC RAM
- dual XFX GeForce 8800 GTS in SLI config
- Windows 7 Pro
2. After I install Windows 7, I frequently and randomly got blue screens/BSOD
3. After fiddling around and replacing stuffs, I happen to check Win 7 Event Viewer
4. There I found the following warning msg under Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Corrected Machine Check
Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error
Processor ID: 0

5. I found that message many times (like 10 msgs in 1 second interval) along with another msg:

Component: Memory
Error Source: Corrected Machine Check

6. So I replace all of my sticks and the messages stop. So are the blue screens.

This wasted a couple of my days. I read in other forums that 1st msg can come up due to other reasons. AMD bulldozer CPU can show you that msg too. Sometimes people have to do BIOS upgrade.
