Hello,

I know I can overclock this manually, but I have a concern.

I recently upgraded my system.

MSI 990XA-GD55

DDR3 1866 G.SKILL Sniper RAM

FX-8120 8 core black edition processor (3.10Ghz)


So I recently upgraded the bios to the latest 2.22 version, so I can have the click bios II, I'm unable to use my mouse (which I heard was a issue, so I'm not worried about that) anyway, I went and changed the OC mode to OC Genie II just to see what it does, if it does anything...my friend has the same setup as me, just different ram (1333Mhz) and his was overclocked with the option on too 3.50Ghz without a issue...

Now the thing is...according to Cpuz, and AIDA64 my RAM is currently set to 1333Mhz which makes no sense...

I have it set to overclock to 1866 in the bios, and I have OC Genie II on

but nothing changed what so ever...

I was wondering If anyone could shine some light on this issue?

I know I can do it manually, but I just want to have the option to have this working incase...well just because.
