Sounds like you are using your motherboard's integrated video adapter and it is using a portion of your main memory for the video adapter (128MB). You might be able to decrease the amount of video memory in your BIOS. You can also install a stand-alone (discrete) video card (this will disable the on-board video and give you access to the memory).

First, you should have started your own thread.

Second, assuming your system actually has 1GB installed and your on-board video adapter is using a portion of your memory, you can simply install a stand-alone (discrete) video card. That will disable the on-board video adapter and give your system memory back.
