Forum Motherboards & Memory : Supermicro SuperMicro H8Dg6-F not posting

I am at work and I have 5 Supermicro H8DG6-F motherbaords that wont POST. It has 2 Opteron 6220 CPUs. It has 128 GB of ram. These are the things I have done with no success. Tried 1 CPU, taken all the ram out (no memory post beep when I do this), rest the BIOS, taken out the battery also to clear CMOS. Tried 3 different power supplies. Tried 1 stick of ram. So far nothing. Supermicro says they have no ideas. Any help would be great.

What is the specific ram you are using?

Sounds like a fried mobo, but 5 at once is a 'bit' too much of a co-incidence..

You sure both CPU's are good?

Kingston KVR1333D3D and Actica ACT16GHR72 1066, both are DDR3. Same response from the motherboard with ram installed or if there is no ram. No POST beep no power light. IPMI is flashing and Network lights show when a cable is plugged in.

Well I have to assume that all 10 CPUs are good as non of the boards are POSTing.

You may need to flash the bios or check the cmos jumper. Maybe it's in the "open" position. Try moving it over, keeping two of the three pins covered.

The board does not have a CMOS jumper, it just has 2 solder points which we have used many times. No success. Nice suggestion though.

Do you have any 6100 series CPU's laying around to test? My thought is that the board's are not flashed with the latest bios that supports 6200 series.
