I have 3GB of Ram, I'm looking to upgrade to 4GB. What i'm hung up on is which way to achive this. The way I see it I have 3 differnt opptions and help or advice would be apreciated.

Computer Sony VGN-FZ340E
Windows Vista 32Bit Home Premium SP2
Intel Core 2 Duo

Currently Have two sticks of Ram 1GB and 2GB of DDR2 PC2-5300 333MHz CL=5

Replacement options are:

1. Pull out the 1GB stick and put in 2GB DDR2-667MHz PC2-5300 CL=5

2. Pull out the 1GB Stick and Put in 2GB DDR2-800MHz PC2-6400 CL=6

3. Pull out the 1GB and 2GB Sticks and put in two DDR2-800MHz PC2-6400 CL=6

Option 1 and 2 cost about $30 and option 3 costs twice as much as option 1 and 2 about $60. Is it worth the extra money for option 3? Will option 1 or 2 create any compatability issue?

Option 1 will work in 99% of cases! Option 3 should work 100%!
