I need a replacement motherboard!

Forum Motherboards & Memory : Aopen I need a replacement motherboard!

Hello :D I have a MSI MS-7548 (Aspen) that I need to get replaced, the processor is fine, I just need the board replaced. I need something similar in size/everything else, if not the same kind of board.

I was wondering if this MSI - Micro ATX Motherboard 1600MHz (Socket AM3) would be an equal replacement for that board? I have 5.1 speakers and whatnot that i'd like to be able to keep.

Any suggestions on boards and the like?

I'd also like to get a case to fit the motherboard as well (: any help would be appreciated.

Additional info:
My power supply is a Rosewill and it's dimensions are 5.91" x 5.51" x 3.35"(WxDxH).

I was also thinking maybe this:

(MSI 870S-G46 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813130590

I would just need a case to fit that that fir the dimensions of my PSU as well.

What CPU do you have?
What RAM do you have? How many sticks, speed?

How do you know you need a motherboard only?

I have a Phenom X4 9750
(Operating speed: Up to 2.4 GHz
Number of cores: 4
Socket: AM2+
Bus speed: 3600 MHz HT3)

I have 8 gigs, four DDR2 SO-DIMM (240-pin), PC2-6400 MB/sec

My mobo shorted out a month or so ago from a faulty power supply. Wasn't too bad, no smoke or weird things, just simply stopped working, won't even roll over or blue screen.

That's my entire rig right there. I need the mobo replaced and a new case (because that case sucks bigtime.)
