Hello all,

I plan on buying another HD5850 to crossfire for my system*. However i realize my motherboard has 2 x PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots (@x16 or @x8, x8) not @x16 x2.

I dont know much about "lanes", but how much will this affect my performance increase should i get another card?

* i5-750
4 gb ram.

Thanks

That is like most boards and it works fine for Crossfire or SLI with next to nothing in performance loss.
