Very doubtful. You could try to return the CPU and claim that it arrived broken, but I don't know if that'll fly. If you have no hopes of RMAing, you could try to solder the pin back on, but that will almost certainly fail. Only attempt that if you're just going to throw the thing out anyway.
Is the pin broken off completely, down to its base, or just halfway?

It's not the CPU he's talking about, it's the power connector. And yes, anyone with basic soldering skills should be able to fix it. I'd remove an ATX connector from a dead motherboard, and either replace the individual pin, or just replace the entire connector. Just make sure you get the orientation of the connector right. (e.g. which way the connector was facing)

gud day/evning to both of you (kajabla, mavroxur) ive done exactly what youve suggested, and i failed, didnt work. Ive pulled out the damage pin and replaced it from a dead mobo.. i guess its the end of it.. lots of thanks to both of you...any more suggestions?

If replacing the pin didn't work, and you're sure you did it carefully and correctly, the force that broke the pin probably broke traces inside the motherboard too, in which case, it's trash now. Sorry it didn't work out for you. Never know 'till you try :-)
