I have an Aopen i915pa-e MB in a machine (not this one) that works great with 2 GB. When I installed another 2GB to get 4GB (per the docs from Aopen for this board) this thing will only recognize 2.88 GB?? No matter how I order the DDRS? Makes no sense. I can install any 3, or all 4 DDRS and still get 2.88 from the BIOS and XP. Odd, eh?

Love Aopen stuff. Writing this on another Aopen... 12 year old Aopen Win 2000 box!

The O/S or Mobo may not recognise and use more than 2.88 Gb. of RAM? A BIOS update might help? If the RAM isn't identical that too can cause issues.
