Ram for X7DAE mobo compatibility

Forum Motherboards & Memory : Supermicro Ram for X7DAE mobo compatibility

Word :    Username :

Hello,

Please I need an advice for a ram compatibility. I've recently been given a Supermicro X7DAE mobo and so I'm looking for compatible ram.
I've been looking to supermicro's list of tested memory sticks but I'm still in doubt in front of a good auction with a Hynix HYMP525P72CP4 -Y5 AB-T but i can't find information of good or bad ram compatibility with this one.

Is anybody has experience with that kind of ram and mobo? Is it a risk to put untested ram sticks in this mobo?
I usually use normal pc ram but there is not doubts if you respect speed/timings and same P/N etc... is it the same case with such kind of mobo?

Thanks for all your advices !

This is a server mother board...here are the specs and requirements for this board...

Any fully buffered ecc ram would probably work fine on this board. Here is the page for all supported rams..

You just got to shop around for the best deal/price.
Hope this helps...JQ

Thanks for reply,

I've already looked over there and I am more confident now that this memory is just registered but not buffered so it won't fit.
