Hello,
I am looking to upgrade my current Pentium D to an E6800. My mother board is the Epox 5NVA+SLI. The processor compatibility on their website only mention Pentium 4 and Celeron D.

Then the core2 duo e6800 won't work. Your board should have a "cpu support" section. Many older boards won't work with core2 duos. Intel changed the voltage specs when these cpus came out.

Thanks for the reply, I thought that just wasn't sure. I have an email out to the manufacturer. I'll post what I find out.
