[HELP] Windows Cannot Be Installed to this disk

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

I'm trying to reinstall windows 7 and get this problem. Ive read other posts and they say to change it to AHCI mode in the BIOS but my motherboard doesnt seem to have that option nor does anything in the manual talk about AHCI. As I said I'm reinstalling windows which means it worked fine before but now it wont even install...

I have a GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P motherboard
AMD Anthlon x3 3.1 GHz cpu
Evga nvidia 550 ti graphics card
250 gb hd.

I have no idea why this isnt working.
