Everest Says Motherboard Supports DDR2 / DDR3 But Different key Notch

Forum Motherboards & Memory : Foxconn Everest Says Motherboard Supports DDR2 / DDR3 But Different key Notch

Hi Folks

I'm thinking of upgrading my ram from DDR2 to DDR3 and i checked on Everest and it says it does support it: Supported Memory Types: DDR2-667 SDRAM, DDR2-800 SDRAM, DDR3-800 SDRAM, DDR3-1066 SDRAM, DDR3-1333 SDRAM

However, DDR2 and DDR3 both have a different key notch so DDR3 would not fit on the board. Why is Everest stating this if the ram won't fit?

Some have both dimms.
You can't use both together though.
