Hello,

We are using X7SLA-H mother boards, these are suppossed to support 2 GB of ram. But we installed 4 GB the BIOS can report 4 GB as installed but only 3.5 GB as available. The graphics card DMVT is disabled so it's just 64 MB.

Did anyone encounter the same problem?

Do you think it has something to do with memory remapping?

We think that it has nothing to do with the kernel because the BIOS reports this amount even before the booting.

Thanks

What OS are you using 32bit or 64bit, if you are using a 32bit OS you will not be able to see 4GB only a bit over 3GB
