No, instead of a sledgehammer, I will use my full-automatic M16 that I brought back from Vietnam to fix my problem.

i thought m16s only used three shot bursts or single fire.

The M16A1 (the ones used in Vietnam) is a fully automatic weapon-later versions were not full auto. The civilian AR15's are semi-auto, one round at a time. Law enforcement agencies have the option of obtaining full auto, three round burst or semi-auto versions for their officers.
