LCD Glasses?

Forum Graphic & Displays : TV Tuner Cards LCD Glasses?

Word :    Username :

I tried doing a search on the topic of LCD glasses but most everything I found was at least two years old so I'll start a new topic asking, what is the current state of LCD glasses?

I'd love to use a pair of these for in door/out door use to avoid having a large screen around or dealing with a tiny screen but I'm wondering if technology has reached the point where these work that well yet?

My two primary concerns (the ones I know about) are screen brightness and focal point. Are they bright (and have enough contrast too) enough to be useful both in doors and out doors and are there reasonably priced ones that let your eyes focus at a distance instead of right on the tip of your nose?

Thanks in advance!

(So where is the display sub-category?)
