Forum Motherboards & Memory : DFI Mixing Voltages

I'm in a bit of a pickle....I currently have 2 x 1 gb of OCZ ram in my system that runs at 2.8 volts. I was thinking of upgrading to 4 gb by adding another 2x1 gb of memory... Unfortunately they don't make this particular model of memory anywhere anymore, and the closest voltages I can find run at 2.7 instead of 2.8. Do you think I will be ok mixing the two and if so, should I clock the voltage up to 2.8 over-volting the lower volt memory or down to 2.7 under-volting the higher volt memory?

Thanks much

You should be fine with the mixed voltages. However, I would recommend you set your memory voltage settings to AUTO in order to minimize any issues or worries about which way to go over or under volting.
