Hello,
I have HP Pavilion dv6700 Notebook. I called HP and they told me they would warrant the mother Board. I shipped it to them and in a couple days they called and said liquid had been poured on the motherboard and when I could not afford to pay them lto repair it they sent it bak to me and now it will not ever turn on. My question is: Is there somewhere I can buy a Mother Board (duringf the neotiation with HP I purchased wimdows 7 to replace the Vista and afgter they sent the now not working Note Book back to me they will not refund or take back the Windows 7 that I paid almost $200.00 for. If there is such a place I can buy a mother board for an I install it myself.

I would check ebay for an exact same replacement board. You bought windows 7 from HP? If it's a regular copy, it should work on your next system. If the windows copy is from hp, then it may work on a your replacement hp board. You'll just have to try it, or call microsoft for a new activation coa number.
