Hi,Im needing tech, help with motherboard G31MXP-K-I7.I got it in today brand new and hooked everything up and it freezes at foxconn logo screen,cant get into bios nothing.I unhooked hard drive and dvd the only thing in it was memory,still same freeze up at logo screen.Everything is new except for cpu and harddrive.Tried it with diff.memory same prob.Any help would be much thankfull for.

Update:I tried unhooking everything except memory,psu,no hardrive,swapped memory,took out CMOS Batt.,waited 10 min. reset cmos jumpers,tried new keyboard ps2,did this several times even with new cmos batt.,Still same prob.stuck on logo,cant reach bios,any help much thankfull for.

Its a Pentium 4 531 cpu.

U can see here the CPU support list for ur mobo.

The Pentium 4 531 that u have isn't in the list of supported CPU so I think that the CPU is the problem.
