After i got my new motherboard and reinstalled windows , there was this new partition on my hard drive. I dont know why its here but its takin 40gb from my c drive and i need that storage. How do i get rid of it?

You are prolly looking at the system partition for windows 7.

Windows automatically makes this partition and stores critical system data on it and it can't be gotten rid of.

There is nothing on this drive at all. its completely empty. I was wondering if i could store some games on it.(not enough room on my C: for world of warcraft.)

 

oh and i windows vista not 7

During installation, if it asks for a install directory, you can change the drive letter/path to somewhere other than your C drive if you have additional drives in your computer.
