I am wondering what size hard drive I should get. I will be storing all the games (Skyrim, BF3, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, DBZ Ultimate Battle 22, Crash Bandicoot 3) and applications (MS Office, IE, Foxit Reader, Advanced Systemcare 5, Microsoft Security Essentials, Hypercam 2, Fraps, etc.)on my Crucial M4 128GB SSD and my music on my phone. The only things I will store are school papers (in 6 months) and some non-PC games. Just to put it into perspective, I currently only have used 60Gb worth of files in the 5 years I have had my current rig for, but since I have gotten to storing more things, I will need more than 80GB of space. By the time 5 years go by, though, I will have already bought a new computer. So any recommendations?

For the price per GB then anything less than 400-500GB is expensive and will fill up quick if you store music and videos on it .

So a 500gb hard drive is the right size to buy for price/gb?

You look at 320GB $85+ shipping http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822148766
Versus 500GB $85 and free shipping http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822148767
It is obvious! 1TB drive would not be twice as expensive, only the largest capacity drives (3TB) become expensive again!
