What is my best solution for better performance ? A SSD drive or upgrade to more memory. I have 16GB and am looking to add 16GB more.
Total ( 32 GB ) I do alot of photo editing and some video.

Thank you

16GB ram should handle your tasks fine so upgrading to a SSD is what I recommend for performance increase.

Invest in a solid state drive. You have more than enough memory.

Do you use Adobe Photoshop products? Have you visited the Adobe forums? They have a web page with recommendations for improving performance and some advice about solid state drives. Last time I looked they recommended one ssd for the OS and Adobe products, one ssd for a scratch drive, and a hard drive for storing raw and finished images. I didn't bother with a scratch drive and still do pretty good.
