SSD properties shows 82GB used, Selecting all files shows 69.6GB used.

Hey all,

So I recently invested in a Mushkin Chronos 120GB SSD. I'm pretty happy with it so far despite the realisation that my Marvell controller is dogshit.

Anyway, I'm here for a different reason. When checking the used space on my SSD, the properties windows shows 82.1GB space used but when all files and folders (including those hidden) are selected it shows a total of 69.6GB.

Abyone know where that 10GB is?

OK so I've disabled hibernation and transfered the page file to my HDD and the used space has reduced to 77GB. Anything else I can do?

Thanks for your response mcnumpty, I have disabled system restore (I have all my documents etc on a separate drive anyway). and it's freed up a lot of space. However, strangley, I'm gettint the opposite issue now...
