Hello,

I recently had a western digital 500GB caviar blue 16mb cache and sold it today because some parts of my computer were taking a long time to load.. especially the games in battlefield 3.

I was wondering, if I upgrade to a western digital caviar black 750gb 64mb cache, would the speed of the loading times of battlefield 3 increase?

It would most likely help, although the degree to which it would help wouldn't be insane but the WD black series drives are generally better than the blue series drives from what I've found. It wouldn't hurt that's for sure.

I don't think you'll notice any difference. The Blue is a good drive. If you want fast load times buy a SSD.

Well my friends have the same specs as me but their game loads a lot faster.
