Hi, just replaced two vertex drives with a 128gb m4. I updated the bios to 0309 before I unplugged the old drives.

I did a fresh install of windows 7 64bit and got a BSOD and it couldnt load windows. Installed it again and now the pc keeps hanging.

Is it a faulty drive or could it be bios settings? I have the sata controller set to IDE mode and the drive plugged into the third sata socket on the mobo.

Any ideas?

4gb ram 1.5tb storage drive
