I accidentlydeleted the wrong images from my Picasa albums to the PC recycle bin then emptied the bin. I tried doing a system restore, no joy.
I am trying to recover the images using a free no nonsense photo recovery download program. There seem to be a million programs with all the answers but then won't let you go far before they want some $$$.
Is there such a program or does anyone have any knowledge if there are Picasa recovery systems.
These are wedding images so I am desperate

I am doing that exact thing on my daughter's computer right now using TestDisk. It is a DOS-type interface, so you must follow the syntax and you should read the wiki. It is free and works very well.

First, I want to know what system are you running? emptied from recycle bin is not big deal, you should first notice that you should stop doing anything with your pc just as the upstairs says, and then install data recovery software on your pc and use it to recover those pictures, most of the data recovery software is easy to use and can recover lost data due to this sort of data loss problems.
Here I recommend one data recovery software for you which is developed from EaseUS.
