Hi my Samsung 500gb hard drive is making a strange noise very similar to the one in this video.

The drive works fine but that sound is very annoying.

That just sounds like normal seeking to me. Depending on the drive, the sound of the head actuator moving to different tracks may be fairly loud or almost completely silent.
