Forum Storage : SSD SSD will not boot up

I just installed an 80 gig SSD and loaded windows 7 on it, but it will not boot up without using the CD ROM to boot it. How do I get the operating system to boot up on the SSD drive?

You will have to enter BIOS and set the SSD as the first boot device in front of the optical drive.

While you are in the system BIOS also make sure that AHCI mode is enabled.
