RAID0 data rescue?

Forum Storage : NAS/RAID RAID0 data rescue?

Hello,
I had a RAID0 software 2 TB (WD Black 1 TB's) storage volume set up with Vista Ultimate as my OS on a 2-1/2+ year old Asus P6T Deluxe V2 MoBo. I very recently installed a new Crucial SSD & also installed Win 7. I cannot access my old RAID0 drives now. It shows up in My Computer, but is not usable. If I click on it, prompts me to format it to use it. When I cancel that it pops a window saying “The volume does not contain a recognized file system. Please make sure that all required system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted.” Both drives are okay (no failures that I can see)

Would updating the BIOS possibly cause them not to be accessible? I ask this because I tried putting the old Vista boot drive back in to see if I could access the RAID & still could not.

I need to access them to recover data & I will convert them to non RAID after that. This would not be important, but my back up drive, another RAID0 (GRaid) has had a coincidental circuit board failure which I only discovered after being unable to access the internal drives.
Thanks, Hank
