why would you want to put your personal data on to the PC you are selling?

If you are talking about programs, install them using the product key.

If you don't have the product key, BUY the product.

I think he meant the Laptop as the one he is reselling.

The easiest and best way is through a flash drive. They are cheap and will do the job!

If you are selling the laptop, put all your data files on a flash drive and restore the laptop to factory defaults

Take hard drive out of laptop, check what connector it is i.e SATA or IDE, then go on auction site and buy a "SATA or IDE" to usb caddy/converter. This way you can just attach it to your PC and drag what you want over then delet the files you dont want to leave on the Laptop. It will cost you a few £'s for a converter tops!
