Hi I just finished building my new system but for some reason my 500gb HDD is not being detected after installing windows on my ssd. It was detected during installation (when it asked me to chose a drive) and the bios and even intel rapid storage technology but I cannot find it anywhere in windows (I checked disk manager already) please help me someone. It's hard living on 60gb only. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with intel rapid storage but I don't know how to fix it

Did you go to "Disk Management" (type that in the start box) and initialize the disk? You have to partition it and let the OS know it's there.
