Picking which HD to boot from

Forum Storage : Hard Drives Picking which HD to boot from

Hello,
I'm installing a new SSD tonight and plan on cloning my current boot drive to it (I've read and watched many tutorials and feel comfortable about this). But once I do this, how can I ensure that my computer will boot from the SSD and not the old HDD since they will both be identical?

Thanks in advance

Set the boot priority in the bios to the ssd, and the first time boot with the hdd disconnected. When you reconnect the hdd, check that the boot order still has ssd #1.
