Both have an rpm of 7200, I was wondering which one is better?

The Black is their top line, usually comes with a price premium over the Blue!

Black is considered a performance drive while Blue is considered storage grade. Blacks are a bit faster and would be best for your operating system. If you just need a storage drive the Blue or even the Green "Eco" series would be fine.

That And The Blacks Are Close To Within 1 To 2% Of Rapors When It Comes To Burst Data Rates, Allthough It Still Get Outruns In A The Sequential And Access Time By Quite A Bit
