I have (3) ide hard drives that I would like to set up on my Windows 7 sata computer. Is this possible?

Yes, it's possible.

You will have to buy a "IDE to SATA" adapter for each drive.
Here's a link to one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] rue&Page=2

You will also have to get a floppy drive power adapter for each drive as well.

By SATA computer i guess you mean you use SATA drive's and opticals for it?, in that case, most (depending on when your motherboard was made) should have at least 1 IDE port on the board, my motherboard is about 2 years old, i bought it 1 year ago, and it has 2 IDE plugs, not that i use them, but since you have 3 drives you wish to use, possible you could buy a RAID PCI card and run them through that, like this card http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ultra-A [...] 3469wt_907
