Hi,

I have two samsung F3 1TB in raid1 & a ocz vertex 3 120GB

When i installed windows 7 on my ssd i have bios set to RAID, will this affect my SSD?


i want it in AHCI but i need to keep my raid incase my ssd fails


Please advise if this will affect my ssd performance

No, RAID in the bios will not negatively effect its performance. The real question is whether automatic TRIM will happen. I would check to see if the Samsung SSD management software will do a manual TRIM -- if so, just do one occasionally and you will be sure all is well.
