Hello,
Techie Brother in Law recommends Synology DS212j for solid performance/options consumer model. 2 questions:
1. good suggested model?
2. what hard drives you recommend. thinking of 3 TB (might as well maximize storage right?)

I have a DS410 and i am very happy with it. Synology maintains a list of compatable Disks on there website. the software in a 2 disk NAS will allow for RAID 1 or 0 configurations. I do not recomend Raid 0 for a NAS.
